SaskPower to pay $50 for Old Fridges
Do you have an old second fridge in your home, maybe in your basement or out in the garage? it's taking up space? It's not working that well? You know you're paying too much in energy costs to run it? Fridges built before 1995 eat up a lot of electricity. They can add about $100 per year to your power bill.
SaskPower will even come and pick it up.
From June 1 to August 31, 2010, SaskPower offered to take your old fridge and pay you $50 for it. The program was an overwhelming success that they closed it early and will be offering it again in the future. Keep watching for it.
