Last week, I helped a client to find a condo unit for lease. During the process of offer presentation done by email, I have found out that the Listing Agent either is lack of knowledge or very careless.  She did not even change the irrevocable date on the counter offer and of course, she did not arrange the Landlord to initial too. There are many other small things in almost every single page on the counter offer. I could not process only until she corrected those mistakes.  Few days later, the deal was closed when the deposit check was sent to the Listing Agent office. Then one day before closing, four parties (Landlord, Tenant, two agents) supposed to meet at the condo unit to complete the transactions by way of exchange of keys, fobs, remote, post-dated checks etc.  However, when I arrived the unit with the Tenant, Landlord said that she has never heard that the Listing Agent will come.

Perhaps the world's been changing. A lot of agents do not care about the leasing market. However, they should know that they are licensed! Don't disappoint your client and you will miss a lot of opportunity!

I just feel so disappointed!
