Today I stopped in at our newest listing at www.23edwinstreet.comand was discussing with the owner about how great the park is in this neighborhood. Mayor Flynn's Park is located in Lindsay's, sought after, northward. It was established to commemorate the 50 Mayor's that served the Town of Lindsay from its incorporation in 1857 to its dissolution in the year 2000, in favour of the amalgamated townships of the City of Kawartha Lakes. At approximately 5 acres of rolling hills, two wood lots and a paved trail following its perimeter this is a great park to stretch your legs. "The Mayor's walk" is what the paved trail is commonly referred to, as it has commemorative plaques planted in the ground along the trail for all 50 of the aforementioned Lindsay Mayors. Scoll down to view some great pictures of the "Mayor's Park".
