The Calgary condo market is in recovery mode with a double digit price increase from Feb 2012. Apartment style condos experienced a growth of 13% while townhouse condo sales grew by almost 9%. Benchmark prices are still 14% below peak levels.
The benchmark price for single family homes was $442,500 in February 2013, a 9% increase over the same time last year. A factor here is the fact that active listings are in shorter supply, down 22% from February 2012.
