Helping new agents helps us all


I love helping new agents.   I find that the more questions I answer the more I learn about the industry and about how much I am learning everyday as well!  I love new agent's enthusiasm - it reminds me of my children when they learn a new skill.  Every experience is a huge deal to them and they are like kids at Christmas with the first good offer they put together.  Their enthusiasm is infectious and it reminds me of how much I love my job and everything that comes along with it (well, most everything!).

Last week I had a phone call last in the evening from a new agent in our office.  She had just closed her first "real deal" (with a client she had found herself and worked with for a couple of months) and she called me just to share her joy.  She said "you are my biggest cheerleader".  That really meant a lot to me.  In this competitive business sometimes we forget to be happy for other agents and it was really special to me that she appreciated that I was truly happy for her.
