What a surprise to look outside one morning in mid November 2010 to find 10cm of snow had covered the garden in beautiful, sunny Richmond, BC. There was snow in November in 2009 as well. Is this a new trend? The fall weather had been very lovely, leaves were still on some trees and some of the flowers were still doing quite well when the surprise snowfall appeared. It is a beautiful sight to see so much snow hanging onto the bushes in such a short time. Hopefully, it will soon be gone and we can get back to enjoying the winter rain. You will no doubt agree that the snow does put you in the mood for Christmas and gets you thinking about finishing shopping, wrapping, and getting started on that Christmas cooking plan.
