Well, we are five months into this years real estate market and some indicators are starting to take shape. We saw a modest decrease in average sale prices for the month of May of approximately 1%. However year to date sales remain slightly ahead of 2009. It would appear at this time we are on track for modest growth in home values in the 1-2% range. Sales should remain on par with 2009. ...

in the Brandon Real Estate sales market. Our month over month April numbers showed a 34% increase in units sold. Sellers are smiling with the increase this year in our spring market. Year to date sales are up approximately 14% to the end of April. Active listings continue to be about the same as last year, so if your thinking of selling, now is the time !

Brandon's Feb. MLS sales jumped by 30% month over month from 2009 ! Our active inventory remains down by almost 20% from 09 creating another sellers market. Now certainly is the time to market your home before more properties become available. With the early spring weather upon us, June and July possession dates are fast approaching.
