Spring, Summer and Fall marks construction season all over the Country. The Town of Rocky Mountain House is tackling a major project and overhaul of the downtown core. This project will update the 60+ year old infrastructure and will give main street a fresh new look, improving side walks and access to store fronts as well many other improvements. 2014 the lower half was main street was completed. Phase 2 of the projected start just a few weeks ago on the upper half.
With change comes uncertainty - many business owners who are directly impacted by the construction due to a lack of access to their store fronts are very nervous that they will not be able to financially sustain the shutdown of main street. It is important for our community to support these stores and to make the extra effort to shop local!
Most businesses have rear access and encourage customers to use the back door access!
