Commission is the best topic that sellers would always ask a listing agent. When presenting the percentage of commission to the seller, make sure that you would tell or discuss to him/her why you are charging that percentage amount. Some are always telling the listing agent that the other party is charging only 1%, why I could not? Some agents perform well than the others. Services given by one agent could not be compared what the other could have done. Sometimes agent could give in to the 1% if the seller will buy another property using the same agent. Sellers, sometimes don't know that real estate business is an expensive business. Agents live only by commission basis. Bust most sellers are understanding when explaining to them why you are different from the other. You are working for their best interest. You are always there for them event though the transactions you had with them were long done and served. Sellers remember your professionalism and truly they will reward you with a truly deserved commission.
