There isn't a day that goes by that I'm not asked this question.
From our prespective the market is stong and active. Sales volumes for the first two and a half months of 2009 are typical for this time of year. There are still buyers looking for homes and with fewer listings on the market than normal our biggest challenge is finding the right home for the buyer. In addition, mortgage rates have dropped again and are at historic low levels making monthly payments very affordable!
It looks like winter has finally broken and with the warmer temperatures and melting snow we expect the market will get even stronger over the next few months.
So don't get caught up in all the negative press. We all have to live some where so it might as well be in a piece of real estate.
Not a lot has happened at the Headwaters condo project over the winter but we expect to get some specifics on price and floor plans from the listing agent very soon. I took this photo yesterday that shows some of the ground work that has been done over the winter.
