I was driving to a showing yesterday and saw for the first time this year a Bald Eagle, I took notice of it immediately and ended up seeing numerous bald eagles throughout the day. This is a tell tale sign that spring is here as they are making their way back to lake of the woods. The next step is for the seagulls to arrive, I cant wait for summer.

We are finally starting to see the ice recede from Kenora Bay! It won't be long now until we see the early season boaters out there breaking the ice to their cabins. This is just one of many enjoyable seasons to be on the lake. Be careful out there!
