I am a Journeyman Carpenter who knows and has worked on every aspect of a home from clearing the lot to the final clean at one time or another. I have worked as a successful Project Manager for one of metros largest builders. When you walk through a home with me I am not just looking to see if you like the home but I am doing a pre-inspection of every home for quality and other major factors that may influence your home buying decision.
I have worked closely with bankers who specialize in financing not only to new purchases but new purchases with renovation mortgages. This helps you find what might be the perfect home if you have the right person suggesting some upgrades that otherwise caused you to overlook the perfect home for you.

Personal Background
I was born and raised just 30 minutes outside of Halifax in Prospect Bay. I have lived in Halifax, Hammonds Plains and Bedford. I know this city and the areas not only from my own experiences but my father was a respected Police Officer here for almost 30 years.
I am currently working towards my Black Belt in Taekwon-do with my goal set for April 30th 2010. It is one of my many passions.
I also am a Volenteer instructor for Christopher Leadership Public Speaking Courses. It is another passion which also helps me think on my feet to help you negotiate the best deal for you.

Buying your first home is an exciting event and it's fun for your real estate agent too! Find a buyers agent experienced with first time home buyers programs and available down payment gift or grants. Receive starter home listings, cash back mortgage details and tips and information on home loans from a local agent. Remember these important tips on buying a home:
Finding a home:
Consider having a buyers agent
Get prequalified for a mortgage
Know the extra costs (survey, tax, lawyer, etc.)
Decide what mortgage payments you're comfortable with
View open houses in variety of locations and housing types
Learn what properties sell for, focus on one location and housing type
Wait for the right house to make an offer, be prepared to negotiate
After the deal is made:
Arrange for mortgage financing
