Autumn Bounty Culinary Festival – October 9 to 11
A showcase of fine food and wine, celebrating the finest offerings in the Thompson Valley. Winter Equipment Turkey Sale – October 9 to 12 (10am to 4pm daily)
Sun Peaks Sports, Time 2 Ride, Helly Hansen and Southside Board Shop are teaming up for a massive Turkey Sale at Bento’s Day Lodge. Enjoy clear out prices on snowboard boots and boards, skis and boots, outerwear, logo wear, globes, helmets, mountain bikes, bike clothing and more! Brands include Burton, Westbeach, DC, North Face, Helly Hansen, Descente/DNA, Orage, Head, Rossingal, Elan, and more!
McSporties and Jardines will also be holding Turkey Sales at their locations in the Sun Peaks Village.

Sun Peaks Resort Corporation Job Fair – October 10 and 11 (10am to 4pm)
Sun Peaks is staffing up for the winter season, so put on your interview clothes and bring your resume to Bento’s Day Lodge for winter staffing interviews. Hiring will be taking place for all departments, including Outside Operations, Sports School, Food and Beverage, Guest Services, Ski Patrol, Sports Centre, Retail and Rentals. Art Shows and Kids Imagination Station – October 11 (11am to 3pm)
>From 11am to 3pm at Tree Line Studios, meet local artists, learn their techniques and admire their completed works. Select pieces will be available for sale. For the children, learn how to make felt out of wool and watch how Karen Hanna creates her unique purses, hats and stuffed animals. Local artist Marianna Abutalipova will also be on hand to teach children how to collage and use bright colours in your artwork at home!
