Nancy Thorne, Broker Owner of CENTURY River-Valley Realty Ltd., Saint John, NB, was recently recognized with The Harvey Webber Commemorative Award by the Atlantic Provinces Chambers of Commerce (APCC).
Thorne accepted the award during a special presentation at the annual Big Splash on the Waterfront event hosted by the Saint John Board of Trade on June 13. "The award came as a complete surprise!" says Thorne. "I am honoured to be recognized by the APCC and look forward to continue my work in the community."
This prestigious award is presented each year to a volunteer who has made a unique contribution to his or her community chamber or board of trade. Thorne was recognized for her dedication, combined with her participation in forming the Access Atlantica group and serving as its Canadian co-chair.
"CENTURY 21 Canada congratulates Nancy Thorne on her achievements and contributions which have led to her winning the Harvey Webber Commemorative Award. Nancy has been a distinguished member within the CENTURY 21 System since 1988, having been a member of the CENTURY 21 Chairman's Circle and having served as the Atlantic Broker Council president," says Don Lawby, President of CENTURY 21 Canada.
