This weekend, I had the opportunity of going to Applefest in St. George. What a lovely village with a great community spirit. This is the perfect place for a family or empty-nesters to settle down. It has something for everyone. It has a small town feel but is close to both Brantford and Hamilton for shopping and amenities. Through my part-time work for Brock University I have visited St. George-German School and it is a welcoming facility with lots of positive student learning occurring there.

The Main Street in St. George for Applefest. Numerous vendors selling crafts, products and food were set up along the Main Street and local parks and parking lots.

There were activities for both young and old, including a petting zoo, fish pond, pony rides and bouncy castles. My wife and I had a great time with our daughter and her family.
