Competition Bureau

i AM SICK AND TIRED OF THE COMPETITION BUREAU TARGETING REAL ESTATE. READ THE ARTICLES OUT TODAY THAT THE BUREAU HAS NOW FILED AN APPLICATION TO STRIKE DOWN THE RULES THAT GOVERN MLS. SAYING THAT THEY ARE GOING TO FORCE COMMISSIONS DOWN BY FORCING CHANGES TO MLS SO THAT SOME OF THE REALTORS THAT CAN'T MAKE A LIVING NORMALLY CAN SIMPLY CHARGE A FEE TO A SELLER TO HAVE THEIR LISTING PUT ON MLS WITH NOT REPRESENTATION. FIRSTLY I BELIEVE THAT IT IS AGAINST OUR RECO RULES TO NOT HAVE REPRESENTATION CONNECTED TO A LISTING. THE MLS SYSTEM IS NOT FOR CONSUMERS IT IS A PLACE WHERE REALTORS CAN EXCHANGE INFORMATION ON PROPERTIES. MLS.CA IS SIMPLY AN ADVERTISING MEDIUM TO PLACE LISTING INFO ON THE INTERNET AT ONE SITE AND IT IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY REALTORS. IF THOSE THAT CAN'T MAKE IT IN THE BUSINESS AND CAN ONLY SURVIVE VIA LAW SUITS AND TRYING TO GET THE RULES CHANGED TO SUIT THEIR NEEDS DON'T LIKE IT THEN THEY SHOULD PUT THEIR LISTINGS ON THEIR OWN SITE ONLY.

i AM SO SICK OF THIS CONSTANT ATTACK BY COMPETITION BUREAU I WOULD GLADLY PAY ANY ADDITIONAL FEE THAT CREA MAY NEED TO FIGHT THESE  PEOPLE (AT COMPITITION BUREAU) THAT OBVIOUSLY AT SOME TIME HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH AT REAL ESTATE AGENT AND ARE NOW IN A POSITION WHERE THEY CAN TAKE THEIR REVENGE.
