Blackberry bold

Anyone out there have trouble with ringer volume on blackberry bold? mine is now so quiet can't hear at all. Have had it examined cleaned etc still no volume. I know of one other guy has same problem. Is it a common thing with blackberry? i think i'm going to pitch this thing and would like to know what else to consider rather than another blackberry.
