On Thursday, create your one-of-a-kind clay piggy bank! Did you know that the origin of piggy banks dates back nearly 600 years when people stored their money in clay kitchen pots made of an orange-colored clay called pygg? Referred to as pygg pots, the name evolved to reference the shape of the pot, a pig pot, later called the piggy bank.
On Friday, design and hand build a special tea pot for your family to enjoy. Embellish your pot using a wide range of techniques.
