A beautiful little park nestled in on the North Shore of the Eastern Arm of Sturgeon Lake, towards Bobcaygeon, in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
Accessed by boat or by road, it is the sanctuary of many house boats, kayakers, boaters, fisherman, and tourists seeking out a restful day on the water, and on the graceful shores of Sturgeon Lake.
This parkland was donated by Colonel McAlpine, who lived in a Mansion nearby.
There is a nice cement pier, portapotties, sandy beach, and plenty of shade for relaxing. Some of the nicest sunsets can be seen from this park. A few firepits are provided as well. A boat launch suitable for small to midsized boats and lots of parking.
Minutes away from Bobcaygeon and a short scenic drive to Fenelon Falls. Come check out this rare find. You may find yourselves the only ones here. But thats Ok, Skip some stones and see if anybody hears them go.
