Bachelor Degree Marketing from Concordia University, Montreal Que.

Community Involvement

I can easily be persuaded to help out at any fund raiser, but my charitable organization of choice is the Alberta Children's Hospital.

Personal Interests

I love to garden, my garden will never be photographed for a center sperad  in a gardening magazine. It is just a place I go to play in the dirt, relax and ----  if the Calgary weather permits, enjoy looking at a flower or two. 

Professional Background

I began my professional career in the field of operations management  and after several years changed my focus to human resources management. Some folks found this change rather surprising, however after several years in operations, I found that the success to any endeavor is largely dependant on having  people with the right skills and motivation focused on attaining an objective. In business just as in life people are the force that make things happen.    

Personal Background

I was born in the West Indies and immigrated  to Montreal  Canada at the age of 5, I dont have any  memories that go back that far,but on very cold winter  days, you know the -30 and below, I know that I was meant to live in a warmer climate I can feel it in my bones. I graduated from Concordia university in 1980, got married to my university sweet heart  in 1981 and we both headed west . My husband and I have found that Calgary has made itself our home, it is a great place to work, raise a family and enjoy some of the best mother nature has to offer.
