The Residential Post Licensing Course in Vancouver was just excellent. It was really neat to be introduced to another Real Estate Board and see how we do things differently here in Victoria. I met many lovely people in the course who I would feel confident referring to friends interested in the Vancouver Market and had many of my questions answered. The applied nature of the course was tremendous, giving us hands on experience working with forms and contracts.
I returned home to Victoria to the acceptance of an offer I wrote just before leaving. Finding a property for a special client that needed to find just the right home was really nice.
I jumped right back into more educational pursuits attending a Webforms course and HST seminar at the Victoria Real Estate Board. Staying up to date on all the latest documentation and legislation is vitally important in Real Estate as they can have large impacts on the market and the success of your deals.
I also enrolled in a 3 week long, web based interactive course offer by Century 21 called "Create 21". Create 21 is a fabulous form to communicate with agents across Canada and even down in the US. Create 21 focuses on tools you can use to better promote clients interests in their properties, to help get them sold! I got some super valuable tips from the course and look forward to applying them to my listings. I also connected with Century 21 agents right across the country. These new contacts will be an excellent way to promote properties nation wide.
Just last night I attended a seminar given by my friend a Financial Advisor with Investors Group. I am wanting to learn more about how I can help direct my clients in terms of their financial needs whether it be mortgage insurance, taking money out of RRSPs for down payments, or retirement needs. Sometimes you have to get creative to qualify for mortgages and Financial advisors can help!
Looking forward as ever learn more, so I can help more.
