As first time home buyers, Leah and I were both very apprehensive and excited to be in the real estate market. All the experiences were new to us and every step was a different adventure. When you suggested that we meet with Russ, we really didn’t have a benchmark or expectation to what kind of relationship a buyer and their agents should have, so we took everything in stride and ran with the process.
From the start Leah and I were immediately impressed with Russ, his personality, his drive, and customer service focus. Immediately he saw that we were keen to find our house and on the first meeting started to set up appointments to see houses. We explained to him our situation, the fact that a New Home Builder’s deal had fallen through and that we were looking to move sooner than later, and Russ took this information into account.
The pace we set for ourselves, Russ matched, with enthusiasm, and there was never a hesitation when we looked late into the night or started early in the morning. For example, I can tell you that my wife attempted to make a viewing appointment on New Years Eve, without realizing it was New Years Eve night, and Russ didn’t complain. Russ was very diplomatic in how he explained that the home owners may have other plans in place this evening, but said he was willing to go! Thankfully, we realized it was New Years Eve and decided to take a day off.
Russ was efficient in narrowing down a preferred location and a preferred style and started to find us homes which matched our needs, something that if I would have done on my own would have taken many late hours.
Eventually, after a whirlwind tour of houses, Leah and I settled on a quaint picturesque house settled on a quiet street in Riverview. Funny enough, it was one of the first homes Russ showed us. After a careful second viewing we decided to put a bid on the house. What I appreciated most about Russ’ involvement in the negotiation aspect of our deal was that he respected our thoughts and our wishes. He provided us with his views and market analysis, but he really respected our thoughts and decisions. I’m not sure if it is common, but I was impressed that I wasn’t bullied or browbeaten into an opinion or decision.
Overall, my wife and I were very impressed with the services provided by Russ and appreciate all of his hard work. We found that Russ was always available and always courteous. It was a pleasure working with him and your firm.

Our first impression of Russell was that he is knowledgeable, open, straight forward and had nothing to hide. That has not changed.
