I wrote a post today on my Facebook wall that said the following:
"I saw a speedtrap in a school zone today. Instead of telling you where it is to avoid a ticket in that zone, how about everyone just slow down in all the school zones all the time? Might save a life.."
I wrote this because on Twitter or Facebook, you often see posts similar to this where someone points out where the speed traps are to avoid getting a ticket. I think it's a better practice to just assume there are police watching, or better yet, assume the position of a defensive driver and assume that a child may run out in front of your vehicle at any time!
Getting a speeding ticket would not feel great, but I promise you, living your life knowing that you killed a child will haunt you forever. Drive safe!
