Personal Background

Canada, is indeed a wonderful and beautiful place to live! I was born in Sora, Italy and grew up in Toronto. I lived in the Squamish area for over 30 years and on Vancouver Island for a couple of years. I've sailed the waters of Desolation Sound and travelled to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Mexico, Hawaii, the Bahamas...so I guess I enjoy travelling! But it is always wonderful to come home.

My two handsome and wonderful sons live in the North Okanagan with their families, and it is absolutely true that "home is where the heart is."

I enjoy helping people find houses they will call home and no problem is too small or too big to solve for my clients.

I thoroughly enjoy looking at properties....and imagining all the creative things you could do to them.

My personal hobbies are reading, listening to music, cooking and spending time with the people I love, and getting to know all the wonderful treasures this region has to offer.

Professional Background

I love the business of real estate and philosophically believe that pride of ownership is hugely important in people's quality of life and affects every aspect of their well-being.

I owned my own Century 21 brokerage in Squamish, BC and sold real estate in Pemberton, Whistler and the Lower Mainland in the 1980's and early 1990's. I took a break, and became a caregiver for my elderly parents and lived in Toronto with them and worked at the world acclaimed Institute of Social Research at York University as a researcher.

When my children moved to the Vernon area, I followed to be closer to them and I got back into real estate. I love selling real estate in the Okanagan. The stunning natural back drop and cultural wealth combined with fresh produce locally grown, the lakes and beaches, golf courses, wine and cheese tours, our region has something to offer every age and lifestyle. This truly feels like paradise on earth!

Professional Interests

I am committed to working towards ensuring everyone has the ability to become a property owner in Canada. With lobbying efforts in conjunction with our professional affliations CREA at the federal level and BCREA at the provincial level, as a realtor I take part in keeping costs and taxes down so that the public can access affordable housing.

I have been a lifelong learner and have held various designations and titles. I keep abreast of all mandated course requirements to keep my broker's license current.

I feel it is important to be dedicated to the practice of integrity and honesty as outlined by the REALTOR CODE.

Community Involvement

I love volunteering, buying into the philosophy of giving back to your community whether it is local, national or globally.

Our country is blessed to have so many volunteers and many organizations would not survive without their help and support! Organizations that I have volunteered with are The Terry Fox Run in many communities, literacy programs with local libraries and colleges, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, local soup kitchens, book distribution in hospitals, school programs, etc.
