How do you make $23,000 in one day?

Members of CENTURY 21 Miller Real Estate Ltd., in Oakville, Ontario recently helped the Heart & Stroke Foundation raise over $23,000 in one day through their sponsorship of the BIG BIKE ride in Oakville.  Along with their family and friends, and led by Broker of Record, Bill Miller, participants raised funds and awareness for the H&S by riding the BIG BIKE through the streets of beautiful downtown Oakville and were cheered on by watching shoppers and restaurant diners.  A big thank you goes to Team Captain Hans Taal for organizing this year's event.

Heart and Stroke research saves lives:

  • In-utero heart treatments that save babies' lives before they're born.
  • Neo-natal procedures that have led to groundbreaking work in repairing the defective hearts of 'blue babies'.
  • Pioneered the use of a clot-busting drug that, when accessed quickly, can reverse the effects of stroke. So for many, it's as if the stroke never occurred.

This year's fundraising target for the Heart & Stroke Foundation is $7 million dollars.  For more information visit
