Christmas is a time to celebrate, spend time with family & friends, parties, gifts and relaxation! I do believe in Christmas and does have a spiritual meaning to me. This weekend, I was putting up my tree (or should I say TREESSSS) I was thinking how much times have changed. When I was a child I despised when people said "when your older... or times have changed" as if it was an insult to the younger generation. Now, I realize what that phrase means. It isn't to be insulting or condescending but the truth. I am "older" now and would like to think I'm wiser, and realize Chirstmas or Holidays isn't about what you get or get to do but about L-O-V-E. Chessy, I know. I crave time with my family now, I crave time for board games, morning coffees, great conversations, holiday meal prepping and of course EATING. I can't wait for my family to open their gifts I get them instead of what I'm getting. Making my family enjoy their holidays and see them relaxing and enjoying time together. The simple "times" matter more than ever. So, times do change... because your mind changes, your importance changes, your directions change. Christmas and holidays mean something in a different way and I am sure It will change again for me in the future as I age (gracefully) and have a family of my own. LET THE CHRISTMAS SEASON BEGIN full of laugher, joy, growing tummies, and MEMORIES!
