Personal Interests
Being involved in the growing soccer community of Vernon has been a passion since relocating here 7 years ago. I have had the privilege & pleasure to coach some wonderful young ladies during the past few years. It has also been my honour to have played with some very skilled ladies in the womens league.
I have had the opportunity to learn the art of preserving many delicious foods as there is an abundance of fruit and vegies available right at your back door here in the Okanagan.
Taking some time to enjoy the many lakes and rivers to boat and fish has been rewarding. Catching my 1st Salmon at Shuswap Falls was an exciting day.
Vernon and surrounding area has an array of wonderful restaurants, everything from Greek to Italian and lots of stuff inbetween.
Personal Background
Having grown up in the Lower Mainland and then spending a few years in Northern Ontario, the Okanagan Valley has become home. There is no place like it, the small town feel is still very alive but the ability to do whatever you want within less than an hours drive. If you enjoy the lakes, mountains, golf, hiking or camping the Okanagan has it all. Very quaint downtown core for shopping or visit the North End of town for the shopping convenience of Wal Mart, Super Store, Village Green shopping centre and much more. The people are friendly and the climate is desirable.
