Although it doesn't feel like it yet, according to the Calendar, tomorrow is the first day of Spring. Boy, what a brutal winter we've had! Tons of snow, bitter cold temperatures, unprecedented ice storm causing much damage, the list goes on....In fact the weather remains one of the main topics in the news and in our conversations the past 4 months or so. But the good news is, Spring is here! Eventually, the snow will melt, the temperatures will rise, and we may finally be able to pack away our snow boots and thick jackets:)
Spring also means, renewed hope, a fresh start, and the promise of things to come. I am generally an optimistic person, and I prefer to look at things through a glass half (or three-quarters) full perspective. I am reminded that just like the cold, dark days of winter will soon be no more, so will whatever "bad" that happened in our lives. It is up to us to embrace the changes, and look forward with hope to what lies ahead.
What does all this have to do with real estate and the housing market? Nothing much really. Except for the fact that Spring is generally the hottest time to sell a home. Buyers will be out in droves to grab well priced and well presented homes. So, if you or anyone you know are planning on selling, or buying a home, give me a shout. I am never too busy for your referrals, and I will be glad to "bring you home where the heart is":)
Enjoy this beautiful time of year, the best is yet to come!
