Should I wait to buy?

Buying a home is a big decision.  Once you've made the decision to buy, many people struggle with when they should start their preparation for the process.  We hear clients say all the time that they want to buy a new home, but they aren't quite ready to talk to a Realtor yet. My advice? Start now.

The process of buying a home can be long and exhausting, but getting the help of a knowledgeable professional that you like and want to work with to guide you along the way, will make the journey a much more pleasant and even fun experience. Getting a Realtor working for you and getting set up with new listing emails is a great way to start.  Even further, starting to see some properties, visiting and learning more about possible neighbourhoods, will also help you narrow down your search and arm you with the knowledge to make informed decisions for your new home purchase!

We generally recommend at minimum 4-5 months before you want to move. It can happen faster, but with the low inventory that is out there, it can even take longer to find just the right place to call home.

Stay tuned for more tips on the process!
