Why Should I attend a PDI?

What is a PDI?

PDI is a Pre-Delivery Inspection.  This is a process where the builder accompanies you through your home or unit prior to the Deliver date.

Why should you attend?

On many occasions my clients have asked if it is important to attend a PDI.  YES!! You must attend and never allow the builder to do it on their own and without you.

The purpose of the PDI is to scan through all the blemishes a home may have before you get the keys.  It is very important that you go through each corner of the home to make sure walls are smooth, frames are not crooked and that cupboards are aligned and everything looks proper.  The builder will tell you that anything within the size of quarter is considered normal. Tell them you are not happy with that especially if something bothers you.
