Sonja Vernon Wood – Century 21 Realtor serving the North Shuswap Area

Sonja Vernon Wood is a Realtor for Century 21 Lakeside Realty serving the Shuswap area. Having graduated from Salmon Arm Secondary, Sonja went on to raise four children on a dairy farm not far from Salmon Arm in Mara. When her youngest was only three, Sonja made the choice to take the Travel Agent course at the Okanagan University College in Vernon, BC. For the next 10 years, Sonja owned and operated her own Travel Agency in Enderby. During 1997, Sonja moved to the North Shuswap, and continued her work in the travel industry through an office in Chase. Seeing so many beautiful properties, Sonja wanted a change in scenery, and in 2004 she took the Real Estate Licensing course. In the beginning of 2005 she received her license and began work with Century 21 in the Scotch Creek and Sorrento office and hasn’t looked back since. Sonja says that the career is extremely rewarding, allowing her to meet people from all over the world who are seeking to grow roots in the beautiful Shuswap.
