Professional Background

After graduating from Salmon Arm Senior Secondary School, I raised four children on a dairy farm at Mara, B.C.  When my youngest was in grade three I took the Travel Agent course at Okanagan University College in Vernon, B.C.  I owned my own travel agency in Enderby, B.C. for 10 years. In 1997 I moved to the North Shuswap and continued to work in the travel industry in Chase, B.C.  Wanting a change and a challenge I took the Real Estate Licensing Course in 2004, receiving my license in January 2005, started working with Century 21 Lakeside Realty in the  Scotch Creek and Sorrento offices and as they say never looked back.  It is interesting and challenging and a 24/7 career.

In 2008 I hit the books again, in June I received my Associate Brokers License, another step along the road to becoming the best Realtor I can be.

Personal Interests

I love my garden, as I grew older and wiser I realized I may not change the world but I could change my property into a lovely space that people could enjoy as they walked or drove by.

I enjoy reading and watching foreign films.

Short walks or long hikes with my dogs Quinn and Laddie is a nice way to behold nature.

A day on the ski hill or a warm day spent on or in Shuswap Lake is a gift.

Personal Background

My father was in the Air Force, I spent my childhood moving around the world.  I graduated from Salmon Arm Senior Secondary School.  The next wonderful, busy twenty years were spent raising four children and working on our dairy farm on the Shuswap River in Mara, B.C.  In 1999 I built a house at Lee Creek on the North Shuswap, from which I can watch the lake as it changes through the seasons.  Wanting a career change from a Travel Agent, I took the plunge, studied hard and received my Real Estate License in 2005 and Associate Brokers License in 2008.  I love what I do, very interesting, satisfiying and challenging.
