Buying Secret #1: Don't Move Your Money!

It’s not recommended to make any large purchases or move your money around three to six months before buying a new home.  This will not help your credit profile. Banks need to see that you are a responsible candidate and they need to see a paper trail so that they can get you the best loan possible.  Also do not open any new credit cards accounts prior to getting a loan, this will act negatively against you. Building up a credit history is not what you want to be doing just prior to purchasing a home.
