Genworth Canada, mortgage insurance agency, has launched a web-site called myhomeplanner.ca. It's a neat little web app, that let's you specify your moving date, and it gives you a nice little calendar with icons showing your upcoming tasks. According to an article in the Globe and Mail this morning, providing partly refundable tax credits not just for energy efficient upgrades but also for general home improvement, could be part of the January 27th budget. The building industry is of course lending it's weight behind this idea, while others are not exactly supportive.
