Do’s and Don’ts Checklist – Once you have your home for sale

Remove Personal Photos & Religious Objects

Bills and Papers – Box them

Money and Valuables – Out of sight, preferably in a safe

Guns, Swords, Knives – Remove

Shoes – put them away

Medicines – Take it out

Kitchen counters, other counters & Sinks – Clean and Nothing on it

No Junk Drawers. Keep everything boxed up

Fridge – No magnets, completely clean

Bathrooms – Clean and all extra items in basket preferably closed.

Toilet seat - put it down, all the time.

Floors – Clean and broom swept, no clothes lying around or fallen hair.

Bedrooms – Use lighter colour bed sheets/bedcovers

Window Coverings, all open to let the light in and provide good views

Entrance both front and back easily accessible and clean of snow, grass, soil

Brighter lights and leave them on during showing, day or night

Doors – Leave all doors open

Loose wires – Hide away

Clean the surfaces and wall spots especially around the switches

Allow all showings, The more we show the better the chances of selling

Keep it well lit, allow some air and keep it lightly/freshly scented

Keep your home look like a model home all the time
