Fundraising Car Wash Success!

On May 10th Century 21 Miller Real Estate, Brokerage held its third annual Klean Up for the Kids event. It is an annual spring event that included a free electronics waste drop off, car wash, bake sale, bottle drive, clothing drop-off and raffle. All funds raised will go towards helping send kids with physical disabilities to Easter Seals camp.
For many of these children, summer camp is a real chance to establish their independence, expand personal boundaries, and explore their abilities. Easter Seals camps offer activities that foster autonomy, self-esteem and acceptance. They go to great lengths to make camp activities — swimming, boating, ropes courses, hockey — accessible for each and every child, no matter what their disability.
It costs $2,100 to send one child to camp and this year funds raised were enough to send one kid to camp. The Century 21 Miller Easter Seals committee; which we here at Steve Pacheco Real Estate are members of; are on track to have a record year at funds raised. In 2013 we raised over $13,000 for the year!
