ENJOY YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD

Being happy in your neighbourhood means you will make lasting relationships in those communities.  So make sure to make the best of the community you’re in.  Take the time to enjoy the walking paths, playgrounds and community events.

Having said that, “taking time” seems to be a serious challenge these days.  “Time” seems to have escaped from our lives and we feel that we are encompassed with so many things that the last thing we have is “time”.  This needs to change, and the only way it will, is with you.  Take a few minutes tonight, maybe after school, or after dinner, and go for a nice walk in your neighbourhood.  Be sure to take the kids!  How will they ever learn to take “time” to enjoy their lives if they don’t see you doing it?  Besides, walking has been proven to help reduce your stress, so why not do it?

Make a pact with yourself today to take time for that walk.  It doesn’t have to be a long walk, just around the block, but get out and enjoy your neighbourhood!  You’ll be surprised how great you’ll feel!
