Where I come from...
I was born right here in the Nations Capital, Ottawa, however my parents home was just outside of Richmond on Dwyer Hill Road. We lived there till I was 4 and my father got a job in Ft. McMurray, Alta when the big boom happened at the oil sand plants in the late 70’s. We came back to the Ottawa area when Syncrude and Suncor went on strike in 1987 and Ft. McMurray was becoming a ghost town. We ended up in small town, Munster Hamlet and I lived there up until 15 years ago. I now reside in the beautiful little town of Carp, it is home to me and where I love raising my family. I love the country living but being close to all the amenities of the city. I am and always will be a “Country Girl” at heart, who loves to visit the BIG CITIES.
- CREATE 21 Canada
- My #1 favourite thing to do is TRAVEL with my family...I like to travel anywhere. I have visited every Province in Canada and what a beautiful country we have. But my favorite destinations are the HOT spots. I have been on 2 cruises, so I have seen a lot of Islands in the Caribbean and have done a lot all-inclusive vacations. The top 3 islands that we have been to are: Barbados, St. Lucia and St. Maarten. However, I am not picky, I am happy as long as there is sun, sand and surf.
- I love to spend time with my girlfriends, whether it be shopping, dinner and a movie, sitting around chatting over drinks, going to concerts or travelling to NYC (we try and do this once or twice a year). Time well spent when I am with them.
- I enjoy playing baseball, rollerblading and swimming. I am a very active person, I work out 4 times a week at Greco, I go to the 6 a.m. classes every Mon., Wed., and Fri. Great start to the day!
- My life revolves around the hockey rink, like most Canadian's. I have 2 boys in hockey, and my oldest plays competitive. I can truly say it is one of my biggest passions, watching and being involved in my boys hockey, I have managed their hockey teams for the last 6 years.
