Mom to Mom Sale
Okay, this is one of my favorite events all year at the school! What an incredible way to get rid of your gently used kids clothes and toys and purchase some at the same time. I suppose I could go into the event with the idea of making a little money (proceeds from your sale are split 50/50 with the school as a fundraiser), but I always end up turning around and spending it on clothes for the kids. I am a hand me down advocate - I think it is good for the environment and good for our kids as well. Doesn't all have to be about brand new brand name items every time the kids ask, although you will find some incredible deals on great brand name clothes. My frugal side loves to get a good deal - I actually refuse to buy anything full price - okay maybe sounds a little quirky, but in this day and age with four kids I want a deal!! The sale is Saturday April 18th, 2009 at Rideau Vista Public School in the gym from 8am - 12pm. There will be, as always tables upon tables of fantastic deals so come on out to support this great fundraiser.
