Winter Driving. A brief reminder.

With the threat of snow and the onset of winter we can all use a reminder about the differences between operating a motor vehicle in the summer and during the winter.

The most important issue for winter driving is Snow Tires! They are 25% more effective at stopping than all season tires, when it comes to snow covered driving. If you decrease your speed, increasing your following distance and slow for corners sooner you will avoid many of the errors made by drivers during the first snow fall.

Remember to anticipate the actions of other drivers. Never assume they are as careful as you.

These few easy steps will help young drivers prepare for this season. They will remind more experienced operators of the skills they used last year to survive the winter!
