ANIMAL CARE

So as you can see I have cats, the darker one was just diagnosed with Diabetes.  After costing several hundreds of dollars just to find this out, I wondered what alternatives there might be for the care of an older cat with a nasty disease. 

I met Dr. Wendy the other week, she offers in home veterinary care.  So we have our first appointment on Feb. 04, 2010.  She will teach us how to care for "Tigger" and learn to check his glucose level.  I've been giving him insulin, and needles don't bother me.

What is amazing to me is this service is found in Airdrie, our small city.  Dr. Wendy has found a niche market, that offers front door service - without stressing your elderly pet or you I suppose by going to a big clinic.

Ok, yes - some of you will wonder what the heck?  It's a cat, but he is part of our family.  I'm a big softy when it comes to critters.
