I have always loved my community and volunteer anytime I am asked. I have served on the Division School Board , Member of the Knights of Columbus, Parish President and council, President of Sacred Heart Parish Catering, Chair of the Ituna and District Regional Park Board, President of the Yorkton and District Council of REALTORS and on the Ituna Golf Club executive. Recently I have been elected as a councillor for the town of Ituna.

Personal Interests

I like the outdoors, canoeing, fishing, bird watching and golfing. I enjoy meeting new people and the real estate industry gives me that opportunity. Someone once said "A stranger is a friend that you haven't met yet" and I firmly believe that.

Personal Bio

I was born in the Hubbard , Sask area and attended school in Hubbard and Ituna Sask. Upon graduating from Ituna High School I joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and was stationed in Calgary and Turner Valley Alberta. The saying "You can take the boy from the farm but not the farm from the boy" rang true in my case. After approximately seven years as a peace officer I returned to the family farm. I married my high school sweet heart and raised three daughters. During the late seventies and eighties I went into the implement business and operated an International Harvester Dealership until 1985 when we were bought out by Tennaco (Case Power Equipment). I continued to farm until 2007 when we sold the family farm and I looked for a people business and decided on real estate. I answered an ad in the local paper and went into Yorkton, Sask. for an interview with the broker of the Century 21 office. As they say the rest is history. I am now a proud grandfather of two. I also sponsor a 2 year old child in Nicaragua.

Professional Background

I have completed all the mandatory courses that are required by law and am licenced to trade in real estate in the farm and residential sector. I have also completed the Century 21 Create Canada course which was voluntary.
