Boating Safety

Part of summer for a number of people is taking to the water for some fun in the sun.  If you are planning to be out on the water in a watercraft that you either own or are renting, there are some things you should know and very specific laws to follow.  Waterskiing, tubing, parasailing and other water sports can be a blast when done safely.

As real estate sales representatives we are here for you through all of your life and want to make sure you remain safe to enjoy the homes you so carefully found to create your memories in.  We are very lucky to live in a country so rich in lakes and waterways.  Wanting to get out on them is no surprise.  We all know the basics of water safety like making sure there are enough life jackets on board and ensuring there are fire extinguishers and flares on board, but the rules surrounding boating are many.

If you are planning on boating this season, we would recommend that you download the Transport Canada Safe boating guide at http://www.tc.gc.ca/media/documents/marinesafety/TP-511e.pdf  Here you will find all you will need to know to have a happy and safe boating experience and when you are ready to come off the water and make a change in your life we will be here to help you MAKE  POSITIVE MOVE…
