Janice received the award in 2012, her brother John was given the honour in 1999.
When not busy in Real Estate (which is rare) Janice likes to spend time with her family- skiing, camping, vacations to Mexico, or just family dinners. Janice has 4 children, all in Red Deer, 2 married with beautiful children of their own.
Janice is the founder of the "Home Program" in Red Deer, an education and down payment assistance program for first time home buyers. Janice has volunteered on the "Red Deer Visitor & Convention Bureau" Board of Directors as well as the "City of Red Deer Canada Fit Week" Board of Directors. Also following the tradition of Real Estate are 2 of Janice's sons. Scott Bourke is a Mortgage Broker with Regional Mortgage in Red Deer and has been in the mortgage business since 2002. I ♥ Red Deer
Living all over Canada (born in Saskatchewan, raised in BC, and 5 years in Ontario) has really given me perspective on what is important in the community we call home. From the day we arrived in 2006 there has never been a moment of regret, nor ever the desire to move away. Without a question, the community offered everything that mattered most in our world. It is a warm welcoming, friendly community, where people genuinely care about one another.
Central Alberta has an abundance of activities for outdoors including walking trails, cross country skiing, biking, horseback riding, skating and most fun- river rafting! Every park has a playground. There are ample picnic shelters and tennis courts. In the winter well lit and maintained outdoor ice rinks abound every few blocks. My favorites places include the amazing off leash dog park “Three Mile Bend” and the miles of paved walking trails from one side of the city to the other. Parks and Recreation also have great facilities with indoor swimming pools, gyms, tracks, field houses and things that keep you busy, active and fit on those cold prairie winter days.
It could not go without saying how much we appreciate the unconditional support of this community, our colleagues and our great friends who stand beside us, and embrace the philosophy, “it takes a village to raise a child”! We have found the services for our daughter (who has some complex developmental challenges) to be outstanding. The funding and provincial support have been more than we would have expected. We have been lucky with local Pediatricians and Doctors. We have found exemplary qualified therapists and services and we have made many lifelong friends with parent support groups. The Red Deer Public School system has taken “inclusion” to new limits, and been helpful and accommodating to ensure our little girl is given every opportunity to gain independence and become a contributing member in society
Friends ask if we miss the big city? Unequivocally we say no, we have everything we need here. There is no shortage of amenities from medical facilities and great restaurants, to all of the big box stores. An array of day spas and specialized boutiques provide a wide variety of clothes, arts, alcohol and gourmet foods. The Farmers Market is one of the finest I have seen in Canada! The economy always seems to be booming in Central Alberta, even when the rest of Canada is reporting recession. Best of all, we don’t have rush hour!
If you live here you know, if you don’t, you should! I happen to know a good REALTOR® that could help you make Red Deer your home! It would be my pleasure!

Hilary joined Century 21 Advantage in 1998 and has been building her business through repeat clients and customer referrals. She makes sure all her clients are completely satisfied with her level of service, not just during the sale but after as well.
Keeping herself up to date with new technology is quite the challenge but one she's willing to take on. Clients are so much more educated these days and she feels it is her responsibility to keep on her toes. Having a family owned contracting business for 30 years has given Hilary a good understanding of the "overall construction" of a home which helps complete Hilary's real estate repertoire. Her goal is to make the selling and buying experience a positive one with as little stress as possible. Hilary specializes in residential properties, condominiums and small acreages and would love to help you through the buying and selling process.
Hilary belongs to a local group called "Red Deer Leads Association" which is made up of business people from different types of fields. The group consists of one representative per category (example: one realtor, one lawyer) and meets twice a month for lunch to exchange direct leads and help increase business.
Hilary grew up in a large family with 5 brothers and sisters in Parry Sound, Ontario. She met her husband in high school and has been married for 35 years. She moved to Alberta in 1977 and it has become their home. Hilary has 3 girls, 2 son in laws and 5 grandchildren (life just keeps on getting better and better).
Please feel free to contact Hilary for client testimonials or a free market evaluation.

I moved to Red Deer in 1995 and had resided in many areas of the city since then. Did you know that Red Deer’s population at that time was 59,834 and in 2015 it was recorded at 100,807!
Aside from Real Estate, keeping me busy is my family! I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and we have 2 children. Both of our kids are junior curlers in Red Deer, our son is also a participant of Red Deer Pond Hockey.
You may also find me volunteering with the Red Deer Kinette Club. I have been a member since 2006, raising monies for the community in many ways throughout the years. We have loads of fun, check out the link to see for yourself! PS – We are always happy to welcome new members.
