Heather Hisey
Building connections with clients and the community
Heather is passionate about client service and community involvement. Her hands-on approach makes sure each client feels they are her only client. Heather has lived and breathed real estate her entire life and worked with her father Clare MacLean until he passed away in 2008. This long and successful partnership with her father gave Heather a unique perspective on real estate and customer service. She continues to rely on the lessons her father taught her about the value of relationships and the importance of community involvement. Heather is committed to giving back to the community through active involvement in both the church and the community.
As a recent first time grandmother and mother of three mostly grown children, Heather understands the unique needs of families in all stages of their lives. From buying a first home to downsizing from the home where a family has been raised, Heather understands how to balance the business of real estate with the needs of her clients. Her personable and caring manner helps clients ease through some of these difficult transitions while her keen business sense ensures that the process is efficient and well managed.
Heather’s commitment to the community includes sponsoring local sports, serving on the Oakville Christian School board and working with the youth at her home church, the Harvest Bible Chapel. She has also been involved in the accommodation study group for school closures and is always happy to participate in local schools’ career day conferences.
Lezlie McDermott
Pragmatic process, proven results
With over 13 years experience in the real estate business, Lezlie approaches each client with a wealth of market knowledge and a pragmatic approach. A graduate of Dalhousie University, Lezlie has been a part of several successful teams including VHM and Invidiata at RE/MAX before moving to Century 21 to partner with Heather. Her honest, straight forward approach helps clients minimize the stress of buying or selling their home.
The mother of three young children, she understands the unique demands of working parents and this sensitivity to family needs is reflected in how she works with her clients. Her results oriented style is perfect for business minded clients who want to ensure family needs are respected. As a Certified Relocation Specialist, Lezlie is adept at assisting families in the transition of moving to and from the Oakville/Burlington area. She has been a regular contributor to LifeWithKids.ca, a local online magazine for families in the Oakville-Burlington area.
Lezlie uses a proven process to help clients buy and sell. She takes the time to understand their needs while sharing in-depth market knowledge and formulating a plan to get them to where they want to be. Clients receive regular communication and access to her expertise when they need it. Lezlie also has extensive experience in new custom home construction and renovation. Lezlie brings honesty, practical advice and a commitment to family needs to every client relationship.
Val Howell
Helping, educating and connecting with her clients is paramount to Val's success. Val is delighted to be a part of the home buying and selling process. "There is a magical moment when a buyer walks into the perfect home, and I get to experience their joy and excitement, and I'm grateful to have been a part of it. "Val knows the key to those magical moments is all about knowing her client and passionately seeking out what is best for them, and that involves knowing the market. Val has a strong work ethic that is coupled with a commitment to integrity and tenacity, which means the job gets done, and gets done well.
Val had a previous career in Performing Arts and Television and had a great deal of success in that field. She has a reputation as someone that is dependable, enthusiastic and professional with the ability to think on her feet, which comes in handy as the mother of 3 teenagers. She is committed to giving back to the community and her church and she is often busy participating in fundraisers, helping with drama groups or playing the piano for the school choir. In everything that she does, Val believes that excellence is not a skill, but an attitude.
Personal Interests
Heather enjoys her weekends when she can attend her church, Harvest Bible Chapel. She is an avid Hockey fan and enjoys spending time with her family.
Lezlie enjoys her new role as a Hockey Mom and enjoys being part of all of her childrens extra curricular activities.
