Midnight Madness is Oakville’s largest retail event of the year, drawing thousands of people into Oakville's beautiful downtown core. But it’s more than a retail event, it also all about the incredible community spirit found in Oakville!
Starting at 6:00pm, Lakeshore Rd.East will be closed for over 50,000 people who will be doing more than just shopping and dining. There is so much for the entire family to enjoy, including live free music on every block! Enjoy classic rock, blues and pop with the Beatles cover band, "The Britles" performing in the Town Square. For fans of the band "The Kings", they will be once again returning for Midnight Madness as well as new local talent featuring; The Frank Rio Band, Mike Branton, Tiny Little Doses & Patrick Lehman. Performances will take place at different staging areas throughout the downtown core starting at 7:00pm.
While listening to all that great music, be sure to visit with some of the many organizations involved in this year’s event. There are over 25 participating community organizations including; Rotary Club’s of Oakville, the Oakville & District Humane Society, CYAN, Autism Halton Ontario, the Kinsmen, Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton and Knights of Columbus!
There are three transportation options to get you and your family to Midnight Madness; Bus, Drive or Ride! There is a FREE Shuttle Bus Service offered every 15 mins from the Oakville Go Station to Downtown from 5:30 pm to 12:15 am. You can drive yourself and take advantage of the FREE downtown parking after 6pm. And last of all, you could consider cycling to the downtown core! They offer Free Valet Bicycle Parking Trafalgar & Lakeshore, just south of Lakeshore Road.
