2010 Was a Positive Year For Saskatchewan Real Estate

The number of sales in 2010 was down slightly in both the Regina and Saskatoon areas. However, Saskatoon saw a minor drop in sales volume of 2% while Regina saw a slight increase in sales volume of 1%.

The selling prices for homes in 2010 were $263,562 in Regina and an average price of $296,378 in Saskatoon.  Remember – prices vary from area to area. For an accurate estimate of the value of your home, contact either Matthew Olsgard @ 381-3982 or Tyler Frederick @ 260-5129.

The Association of Regina REALTORS® Inc. and the Saskatoon Region Association of REALTORS® are anticipating an active 2011 housing market. Assuming the economy performs well and job and population growth remain steady, there should be a strong demand in 2011.
