Saskatoon Real Estate Market Review March 7

In spite of the unfavourable March weather and after two weeks of declining sales numbers, the Saskatoon real estate market improved last week as 73 sales were reported in the city. Impressive if you compare to the week previous where 17 less sales occurred and during the same period last year where only 53 sales were reported. New listings in Saskatoon moved upward as well as 128 were posted to the local MLS for a net gain of 22 properties. However last year there were 155 properties listed during the same period, which makes last week’s 128 look quite modest. In terms of total listings in Saskatoon, the inventory has grown while breaking the 1100 mark, however we are now hovering around 1099. When looking at a week to week comparison there are 24 more properties on the market than there was last week and almost 200 more than the same period last year. At the moment there are 604 single family homes and 430 condominiums on the market in Saskatoon. If you have any questions about the market we are always more than willing to answer them for you. Have an excellent week everyone!
