Saskatoon Real Estate Review: September 20-24

Real estate sales in the Saskatoon market took an upward swing last week as 24 houses and condominiums were reported on the local MLS, which is 12 higher than last week. While sales were up, listings slid once again as 97 properties were posted on the MLS which is a drop of 11 from last week and down from the same period last year. Inventory has remained steady at 1358 (812 single-family homes and 472 condominiums) which hasn’t changed substantially for quite some time and has somewhat flat lined. Last year there were 1088 listings on the Saskatoon MLS which is noticeably lower. Last week’s average price was $292,541 which is down under the $300,000 mark for the first time since Mid-August.
