Saskatoon Real Estate Week in Review March 14th

In comparison to two weeks ago where sales numbers were very strong, last week the numbers slipped slightly as 67 homes were reported as sold on the Saskatoon MLS. The numbers from last week are just 6 less than the week previous, however 13 more than the same period last year. Sales numbers continue to eclipse last year’s performance and have for 7 of the last 10 weeks, which is quite promising. Listing activity in 2011 has eclipsed last year’s activity in 8 out of the 10 weeks thus far. Last week the listing total closed at 1139 which is up more than 200 from 2010. On Monday morning there are 643 single family homes and 431 condominiums on the market which is up from 525 single family and 353 condominiums in 2010. In terms of average selling price, the overall average slipped below the $300,000 to $282,057. For any questions on the real estate market feel free to contact us: or
