Saskatoon real estate market review - June 27th

After breaking the 100 sale mark two weeks ago, last week the Saskatoon real estate market slowed last week with just 74 sales reported to the local MLS®. New listings followed suit as there were 111 properties listed last week, which is 25 less than the week previous. Total listings continued their climb to reach 1463 (824 single family, and 523 condominiums) which is 12 more than the week previous and 36 more than the same period in 2010. The average selling price in Saskatoon closed last week at just over $308,000 and the average selling price below asking was roughly $10,600. The weekly average is on par with the previous week, however a little lower than normal, suggesting there is still a lot of action in the entry level market. At the moment the market seems quite stable in Saskatoon! For any questions or if you’re thinking about buying or selling contact or Enjoy the heat wave and your long weekend!
